OOC INFORMATION Name: Kira Are you over 15? Yes. Contact:narwa Current characters in the game: N/A
IC INFORMATION Names: Liselotte "Lottie" Beck and Liselotte "Louise" Beck Canon: Changeling: The Lost (New World of Darkness) Why should they be combined? Louise is Lottie's adoptive mother, but she was created to be Lottie's shadow, a copy of Lottie made from garbage. Lottie would be close to impossible to play without Louise, Louise would be missing important parts about her, and in their setting of origin, they rarely appear apart, and never for very long.
Lottie is a three year old child and needs her primary caretaker around, and just isn't independent enough to app her alone with an NPC parent - she wouldn't really be able to get around for network things and I wouldn't want to inflict full caretaker duties on another player character. A good deal of Louise's powers don't work when Lottie isn't around.
They are firmly tied to one another and rarely appear apart for various reasons. Louise acts as Lottie's guardian towards the Changeling (once-human fae beings) courts, while Lottie acts as Louise's patron towards them. Whenever one of them gets involved in something fae, the other follows for one reason or the other. In everyday life, they stick to each other's side much more closely than a working mother and her child normally would because Lottie is too young to filter properly what she should and should not do around mundane people so that Louise can't really entrust her to her wife or a child minder, and because Louise prefers to know where Lottie is. Not only because she feels like Lottie is something like the soul that she doesn't have, but also out of anxiety - Lottie's we-being and safety ensures her own, when it comes to a sizable portion of the local Changelings.
